As a family business, we want to pass on our world to the next generation in good condition. That's why we ask ourselves the same question in everything we do: how can we approach this as responsibly as possible?

From the materials we choose to the people we work with and the way our bags are produced. We take a critical look at our choices, take responsibility and continuously seek opportunities to improve.

Some call it sustainability. We simply call it honesty.

This belief forms the foundation of The Honest Journey. Our ongoing journey towards greater transparency and more responsible business practices. A journey in which we don't just talk about what we do, but also make our choices increasingly transparent and verifiable.

Our efforts have been recognised with an EcoVadis Platinum rating. An achievement we're proud of, but above all, a motivation to keep improving.

Because ultimately, it's about bags that are designed and produced with care. Products that bring together quality, functionality and responsibility.

Making responsible choices visible.

A bag goes through an entire journey before it reaches its user. From the origin of raw materials and the choice of materials to production, transport and everyday use.

At SL BAGS, we want to gain a better understanding of this journey and make it increasingly transparent. That's why we look beyond the finished product to the decisions and processes behind it.

We focus on material choices, production conditions, quality and the environmental impact of our bags. We work closely with our production partners and invest in ways to make relevant product information accessible and verifiable.

Because we could simply say that we do business responsibly, but we'd rather show how we put that commitment into practice.

Through initiatives such as Trace Me!, our Digital Product Passport, and independent assessments such as EcoVadis, we continue to make our efforts more transparent. This helps distributors and their customers make informed, responsible choices based on concrete information.

Responsibility at every stage.

For us, responsible business practices go beyond choosing more sustainable materials. They also mean caring about the people who make our products, the conditions in which they work and the quality of the finished product.

That's why we work with production partners with whom we establish clear agreements on quality, working conditions and responsible manufacturing. Our own SL ASIA team supports us in maintaining close relationships with our production partners and monitoring quality.

We also make conscious decisions when developing our collections. We consider material composition, the functionality of each bag and how it will be used.

Because a bag shouldn't just look good. It should also be comfortable and practical to use, with the quality needed to last.

This is how we aim to take responsibility at every stage of the process. From the initial design to the moment the bag reaches its user.
