We as a company strive for 100% sustainability and believe that integrating eco-friendly materials, shipping, ethical manufacturing processes and circular designs not only contributes to a healthier planet, but also to the creation of high-quality, responsible products that our customers can be proud to offer.

Our containers are shipped 100% CO2 neutral
As an importer, we cannot avoid transporting our goods by sea freight from the Far East. However, since last year we have had the option to completely reduce these emissions, and we are making it happen! In collaboration with DHL Go Green, we can achieve this CO2 reduction in our own sea freight chain. We do this by 'insetting': actually reducing emissions in our own chain through the use of sustainable biofuels. We also compensate for the first and last part of the chain (truck transport from factory to port, and port to our warehouse) through 'offsetting': compensation through CO2 reduction projects. In this way we can transport the entire incoming flow of goods from the Far East in a CO2-neutral manner. This is a crucial step in achieving our CO2 reduction target!

We package in 100% recycled plastic
Old polybags are collected (mono-stream), any prints are removed and the plastic is cleaned. This is then made into granules, from which new R-LDPE polybags can again be made. The polybag can be slightly less transparent, but offers the same protection of the product and in any case does not cause extra waste or extra use of petroleum.

Our office is CO2 neutral
At the end of 2021, we have already taken a major step in reducing our CO2 emissions by completely renovating our business premises, shutting it off completely from gas and heating it with heat pumps. We generate the required power (and even more than that) with the installed 268 solar panels on our own roof. This makes our business premises more than CO2-neutral!

We are certified
We strive for transparency and responsibility with regard to materials used, business processes and our living environment. All recycled materials used are certified according to the Global Recycling Standard (GRS). The factories are certified for CSR and all commit to our own Supplier Code of Conduct. Also has SL BAGS improved itself with an EcoVadis score of gold! We are among the top 5% of global best-performing companies in our sector in the field of sustainability. Based on 21 criteria, our company's performance is assessed in four categories: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.

As a company, we are also ISO 9001 certified and, as a member of the trade organization Platform Promotional Products (PPP), we endorse the PPP Code of Conduct.
